Sheenas on a roll!

Sheena has put a massive effort into her goal of weight loss training super hard since October. Losing 5 kgs in the last 6 weeks, Sheena has now lost 17kg since October last year. Losing massive calories in Boot Camp and P.T sessions, Sheena has also changed her eating habits ensuring that all that hard work early in the morning isn’t wasted ;) Recording her weekly result on a weight loss goal chart, Sheena is focused for an overseas trip and her brothers wedding early next year. Well done buddy, keep up the great work.

Client of the week goes to Kylie after a smashing start to her new program. After 2 previous programs focusing on strength then sculpt, our 3rd program is now focusing on stripping. So with that awesome ripped up physique, Kyles is on track to a lean strong body. Hitting her tailored program 3 times a week Kyles is known in her gym as the hardcore chic. Putting in a huge effort every training session is getting the results, even to vomit point at Wednesday’s PT session. YUMMY!

My PT client of the week this week goes to Sarah. Training for only 5 weeks now, Sarah has already lost 17.5cm’s. With a goal to reduce her midsection, tone up, and kick up those endorphins, we have pulled 13 of those cm’s off her belly, toned and trimmed her arms and Sarah is loving her sessions. Sarah’s pet hate is running, but with some gentle encouragement and a few coaching techniques Sarah announced she is buying a treadmill this weekend. I nearly fell over. Apparently now she loves running.. who would have thought? I’m super proud of your efforts Sarah. You have taken a big step starting Personal Training and because of your hard work you are receiving the rewards. Good on you buddy! You wait until you see your treadmill program….. :)

Kylie has had an awesome year in training. Completing her fastest 5km race, completing her first ever 10km race, her best results on the beep test, down to goal measurements and weight, an awesome 4 pack of abs and toned up chicken arms. Now the fun begins, maintaining her physique, and getting her faster in her runs. Kylie is one of many Pioneer clients who have hit their goals before Summer has even begun and will be enjoying a maintenance program whilst most of Canberra will freak out on the first hot day they try to put a singlet on, join a gym and may eventually get to their goal by Winter next year. Enjoy it Kyles, we have had some close vomit sessions, but you have been a trooper! Well done buddy :)

Kristy's PT Sept 2011
PT of the week this week goes to one of my girls who can definately get the Naughty client of the week as well. Very rarely does a couple of weeks go past where I’m not phoning/texting Sam to get her butt home after a check in on facebook at a bar in civic in the middle of the night. Perhaps some of you should delete me as a friend??? But how many trainers in Canberra care where you are and how many calories you are consuming :) Sam started personal training in June, and despite being only little to start with, she has managed to strip over 20cms worth of girth measurements in only 3 months. Looking trim, toned and terrific, Sam is now defining those arms and back muscles to get ready for her bridesmaid dress for this month. Well done Sam, you have given me grey hair over the last 3 months, but it has been worth it. You look awesome, and you are going to be a stunning bridesmaid.

Brandon started Personal Training with me in August this year and has lost 7kg in only 8 weeks. Following a strict daily home exercise program, and a few changes to his eating habits, Brandons physical well being has improved dramatically. Dropping weight consistently every single week, he hasn’t let a week slip and is well on his way to achieving his goals by next month! A few near vomits in PT and always 100% put in Brandon has been a highlight of my Thursdays. Keep up that level of motivation and you will be an absolute weapon by Xmas!!!

Blaydo finishes 29km Race!

Last Saturday Blaydo (Denise), took on a gruelling 29km run through the Royal National Park. Jenna and I are super proud of her and asked her to share her experience with you.
“I was both excited and nervous when I entered the Coastal Classic race. I was looking forward to the challenge – and what a challenge it turned out to be! A crazy mix of terrain – rainforest, eroded trails, beaches, rocks, four hills (with the down hills twisting track full of trip hazards) and to finish off, 4kms of soft sand! The race was much harder than I could ever have imagined but I was ecstatic to finish in 3 hours 57min (just under my goal of 4 hours and under the average finishing time). I have to say the race was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done both physically and mentally, taking a huge amount of energy to remain positive and focused till the end. My training has paid off as I finished feeling strong and recovered quickly – huge thanks to Kristy for all her support over the last 4 years. I know I would not be where I am now without that consistent encouragement and push to step up to the next challenge, which is now a 42km marathon!! Bring it on!”
