The civic girls were put through a tough session this morning and a good thing too as it was -4 outside. A quick warm up and we were rolling. Legs were screeming especially Helgas on the wall hold. Chris busted out a few Fs and I’m sure a few others did too. Nice work gals.
Civic boot camp week 2: 22-5-12
Civic Boot Camp week 1: Thursday 16-5-12

Intervals is the name of the game and unlike the Tuggies group that got sprints introduced half way through the session, the civic girls ha an hour of it. The doors were open for air very quickly today as the group were wiping sweat of their brows. Great first week for the entire group with everyone pumped for the next 5 weeks.
Civic Boot Camp – Tuesday 15/5/12
The girls were straight back into it without missing a step this morning. A week off was not obvious at all as the group picked up straight where we left off. We welcomed new girls Trish and Sabrina who did extremely well to keep up, and Ana, Helga and Erin are back in action after a break. Well done ladies. Study up on your flags, get ready for beep test, and let’s see what special door Lauren comes out of on Thursday…
Civic Boot Camp – Thursday 3/5/12
Last outdoor session for the civic girls, so I thought a scenic run would be perfect. Handicap sprint around the beautiful Nerang Pool had the girls chasing each other down and had me squealing in delight/fright. Med ball work in amongst the Floriade Parsley and big discussions on the important current issues. Natalie Cooks legs, Margie and Michelle’s flirting, and the Tough Mudder obstacles.
1 week to rest and recover then we hit the great Indoors. Well done to Chris, Sue and Sian for winning $100 each from the groups votes for best and fairest for the boot camp.
Civic boot camp week 8: Tuesday 1-5-12
Civic boot camp week 7: Thursday 26-4-12
Civic boot camp week 7: Tuesday 24-4-12

The civic girls were glad to be doin legs on the concrete today and they all put in 110%. In groups of four working the steps and ropes and revving each other up on the runs. Lou saw how quick Chris was in the runs and was neck and neck with her the entire time. Bri and Lauren had a great catch up on the step and sue and Zoe nice and quiet in the corner put in a massive Effort too.
Civic boot camp week 5: Thursday 19-4-12
Civic boot camp week 6: Tuesday 17-4-12
Civic boot camp week 5: Thursday 12-4-12

A balmy .5 degree this morning and good god we all felt it the entire hour. Toes were ready to snap off but that didn’t stop the girls from having an hour chat about everything possible. Regatta hill had the marks of the girls sprints up there and poor liz had to back up with more upper body. Another good week from the girls and only 6 more sessions till we head indoors.
