Julie started off the session this morning with a letter to me from Jenna: “Dear Swamz, the girls have been so good for the last 3 weeks whilst you were away, so you can put all equiptment back in the car today. For the runs up the hill they will only need two cones and you can take it really easy on them because they behaved the whole time. Have a great day, Rabz.” Nice try Julie, technology these days allows jenna and I to talk without having to send notes old school. And by the way I saw your piece of paper and it was blank…
So on with the session, team sprints, hill runs, killer DB’s and step work. God it’s great to be back!!!
Awesome effort ladies, and it’s so great to see all the improvements. Jenna has done an awesome job with you all. I may even give her a hug?!

The girls were either excited to see me or were stalling me from the session this morning, but either way it was a beautiful day and there were smiles all round. Already 24 degrees and over 80% humidity, the boxing xtraining circuit I had planned was taken down a notch to make sure no-one hit the deck with heat exhaustion. Water breaks and even a shade break kept the girls fresh and motivated and all 20 put in a massive effort for the hour. Well done ladies, an awesome tan, a billion calories burnt and a social event all in one….$10 is cheap isn’t it? :)

The Tuggies have done an amzing job with one trainer over the last 3 weeks. Today we hit Lake Tuggeranong with Plyos and skipping a favourite for some of the girls. Over 5km run this morning with loads of leg work. Everyone did such an amazing job today that Players player points were very hard to pick. YOU ALL GET 1 POINT EACH. Have an amazing weekend ladies rest up for a big session with Kristy on Monday.

A great group tonight and they loved the fact there was no running involved. A huge session on the arms loads of push ups and loads of ab work will have the group looking amazing for Summer. Poor Katie had already had a huge upper body workout before boxing and while most of the group had already trained that day they all put in 100%

We took a big risk today and headed down to the good old stage 88. Homeless man was no where to be seen so a big sigh of relief. Sian started off the session trying to box with two left hand gloves which didn’t work so well so as a warm up, her and Sue ran back to the Ute to swap gloves. We got started once the group were back together and Lauren partnered up with Christina and talked about the President for the hour and Helga, Chris, Sue and Sian decided while I had my back turned they would have a walk. PENALTIES! I do have eyes in the back of my head. Good work today girls.

A huge circuit set up for the girls today 20 stations and a race to get the most reps out in 1 minute. Followed by 2 sets of interval sprints in between. The girls did so well to count stay on track and train hard for such a big session. Sheena and Laura ran so hard the hit the deck and while Julie was trying to hide behind cones the girls were giving me crap about the tan lines on my legs. A great session today girls. Friday we hit the lake!! We welcome back Swamzy to Canberra today she is going to be beside herself when she comes back to boot camp on Monday

It started of off a little special this morning with a few of the girls just not feeling it. With no choice but to suck it up and train we headed off with resistor belts/bondage belts on to the other side of the lake. After a huge warm up on the calves we hit hit reconciliation place hard and then it hit us hard and turned on the sprinklers. Don’t worry, Kathys hair was fine! After some hard interval work a few girls falling on their faces and an exciting talk about Obama and Princess Mary coming to Canberra we headed back and the girls were exhausted. Kathy Vlahos thought that with Kristy being away I would go easy on the group in her words “you rode our asses the whole 3 weeks, thank you”
A huge 3 weeks for all the girls and it is just about Christmas and you all deserve a good break.

The girls hit Urambi hill today and tore it up. Only a few little yells to NOT take advantage of one trainer towards the end but for the rest of the time they girls were on track. It has been a huge few weeks for these girls and they have been super good since Kristy has been away, still no pranks which scares the hell out of me but then again we still have two sessions to go!

Tour De Femme 2011

Me and 7 Pioneers were up at Sparrows fart this morning getting ready to take on the 20km Tour De Femme. A huge trip down from QLD for Julie, Helgas daughter only to get a flat tyre around the 15km and had to walk the 5km to the finish line. Annie, Sal and Gai were off leaving their dust for Zoe, Caroline and myself. Not that we minded and it was a first for Zoe and Caroline and they did super well to complete the entire course. With me next to Zoe the entire race I am sure she wanted to stab me by the end as I only let her stop so I could put her chain back on. The group did super well today and Kristy would have been super proud of all of you.

The girls were in for a huge upper body workout today as we maxed out the shoulders in the first 5 minutes. A hot morning to be racing around in circles so we kept the cardio for short little spurts and focused on ripping up the girls arms. Great work to the whole group today.
