X-Training was fresh this morning but the girls and Lach put in a huge effort. We welcomed Kelly and and Sam to the group and they fitted in perfectly. 400′s with med balls and dumbbells had heart rates up high. Wendy had to be yelled at by Kristy a few times while doing ab work while but quickly got back into it. A smashing effort by everyone today.

Kristy’s PT Client of the Week
PT Client of the week this week goes to my pocket rocket Deb. We have absolutely ripped the hell out of Deb’s upper body and she is constantly receiving compliments on her physique. Deb shares a session with Ron and goes toe to toe with him in strength and when people ask who lifts the crazy huge dumbbells on the ground under the rack, its these two. Deb gives absolutely everything in pt and is an absolute treat to train.
Boxing Thursday 28-7-11

Boxing tonight was a hoot a great bunch of clients a good laugh and some hard work. We figured out that Kylie is a bit special when it comes to shoulder work. We figured out that Kate is a woo hoo girl and we also figured out that Blaydo and I can’t skip together because I will get smacked in the head with a rope! Pauline found her right hook and Lou felt it too and Peta will have sore arms just from pad holding Lach. Awesome session!

Civic Boot Camp Week 4: Thursday 28-7-11

The Civic girls didn’t say a word today it was heads down and train hard. Intervals on the legs and upper body and cardio thrown in for a little bit of spice. Joey got an early morning wake up call for sleeping in she must have been up late training hard!!! After a good hard hour I asked the girls who is missing out of the group that usually makes all the noise and the response, Kristy! Week 4 down and out girls keep the intensity up.
Tuggeranong Boot Camp Week 4: Wednesday 27-7-11

The Tuggies girls put in a massive effort today but only after I busted out penalties! Kristy having the day off due to pulling a hussle Muscle which is what Wendy Lynda and I decided she had done. Then with about 20 minutes to go the girls tried to pull the shifty on me by finishing off sets early thinking i wouldnt see. Cheaters!!! I have eyes in the back of head, good luck with that!
Civic Boot Camp – Week 4: Tuesday 26/7/11
The civic girls put a massive effort in todays session which consisted of upper weights and running drills. Sandra’s guns were out in force, Joey was giving all the heavy weights a go, and Janine was running like she was shot out of a cannon! Rosie thought she could hide behind the soccer goals and make up own her exercise for one station. A big mention to our newcomer Lacey who picked up the weights technique straight away. Well done girls, no cranky face this morning!
Tuggeranong Boot Camp – Week 4: Monday 25/7/11
Tag teams for the girls today, work your way around the circuit hitting the goal reps and then passing off to your partner. A whopping 600 cal session, and the girls still got to socialise and smile. Team Wynda scored themselves 4 and a half stars for their synchronization, unfortunately losing half a star for costume. Julie and Katie put a massive session in knuckling down and encouraging each other the whole way, and great to see our young girls are starting to muscle up a bit giving the heavier bars a go in the presses.
Kristy’s PT Client of the Week
My client of the week this week goes to my clients who turn up week in week out and give me 100% and no excuses. The few I have selected have been training for a minimum of 12 months and some have been with me since Pioneer first started which is 4 years now. It takes alot to stay motivated, but when you are accountable to a personal trainer, you can’t take the easy way out. So this week I would like to congratulate my clients who always turn up for training every week and acknowledge how many one on one torture sessions that have had to endure with me. Kel – 307, Dennis – 257, Ron – 181, Alison – 174, Margo – 165, Annie – 151,Christina – 129, Wendy – 127, Jodie – 121, Laura – 114, Chris – 103, MJ – 103, Steve – 101, Jennifer – 97, Richard – 92, Mike – 87, Suzi – 80, and Jimmy – 74.
Ski Adventure – 23rd/24th July

Pioneer Training hit the slopes at Perisher this weekend and it’s obvious how far we have come since last year. Lach made it all the way into the Rollercoaster run at Blue Cow this year, which is a far cry from Front Valley. John was awesome instructing him all the way down the hill and giving him the right lines to take. Bel, Hannah and Kim-Maree went to work constructing our pioneer snow man, whilst Taylah and Brian got busy stacking on the chair lift. Nic, Jenna and I cruised around the slopes practising our moves (stacks) soaking up the beautiful sunshine and warm weather. Gemma and Warren headed down for the Sunday session and copping a huge dump of snow in the morning. Massive amount of beautiful powder on the slopes, hardly any crowds, perfect weekend!!! And the most important thing….another year with no injuries!
Boxing Thursday 21-7-11

There was no running tonight just strength work and combos. Louise and Pauline got the combos down quick while Kate and Denise worked and chatted the whole session. The boxing is coming along very nicely guys your strength is improving and so is your coordination. Safe trip to Annie and Sal who head overseas and to Venetia as well. Don’t you now by law have to take your trainers with you!!
