Kristy's Pt April 2011

This weeks prestigious award goes to Suzi!!! Two huge training sessions for the week, alot of swearing, crocodile tears, and a thank you text later when the pain had eased is a normal week for Suzi and I.  A goal of toning, tightening and in general looking fabulous, we have had some fun putting some muscle into Suzi’s little chicken arms and legs. Posture correction and a ban on Brie cheese, has helped us in getting her fabulous physique. Suzi can also do unassisted chin ups (when she isn’t giggling), and is smashing out the toe pushups now. Well done buddy!

Boxing – Thursday 19/5/11

After Jenna’s disghust in my clients dress sense last week, we decided to have a bit of fun tonight with our dress ups. A text message sent out to wear singlets over long sleeve shirts and Helga went even one better and turned hers all inside out as well. 12 Pioneers set the fashion statement, whilst the other 11 at Boxing just laughed and shook their heads. And how funny it is that it was all my clients that went along with the joke, apart from Bel. Clearly you are with the wrong trainer buddy! So after all the laughing and fashion parades, we got stuck into a massive session of boxing. When Blaydo complains that I’m being particularly nasty, we know we are having a big one.

Civic Boot Camp Week 1: Thursday 19-5-11

Week one is down and the Civic girls had a ripper of a session.  In groups of three with one hour of leg work ahead the girls put their heads down and worked their BUTTS off.  The girls will have wall holds in their heads for the next couple of days because when they stand up they will be reminded by the pain in their legs.  BRILLIANT week 1 ladies lets smash the next 5 with the same intensity and attitude.

The end of the week for the Tuggies girls and and although being -4 our girls were up out of bed not IN bed doing what people do at 6am, right Julie! A huge effort by the girls while i was up near Megan and Ange having a few laughs Kristy was working the girls down the other end.  Hair will be a mess for the rest of the week which is OK because Pioneer Crew do it best  how ever they do it.  Week one down and 5 to go.  Totally Pumped!!!!

Rich has been Personal training for just over a year now and the the improvements are paying off.  Rich races in the Australian superbike championships and is leading the pack at number 1.  With a very specific weights program and fitness to do on his own, Rich has put in the hard yards to be on top of his game.  Getting up to speeds of 300kph and more Rich has to be conditioned in strength and fitness and is happy to tell you that getting off the bike after a race feels great especially when some of the guys he races are half his age and are sweating and exhausted after each race.  With the Championships in sight we have a few more races which i am sure Rich will WIN!!!! GO HARD RICH

We x-train you so that you have variety in your training.  If you have a small group and want some lunch time fun and fitness give Jenna a call on 0419 466 706

The girls trained so well this morning we didn’t even have time to take  a snap shot of how well the were all doing.  Being inside was a bonus as we boxed our way to a massive sweat.  We welcomed Ange and Kathryn to the group and the put in a huge effort to keep up with the girls.  only 6 weeks this round so the girls are in for a some very big sessions.

Tuggeranong Indoor Boot Camp – Week 1: Monday 16/5/11

Both Indoor Boot Camps are booked out and Jenna and I are pumped to go!!! A glorious morning inside away from the – 25 degrees tuggers air, and the girls will be struggling to walk, sit, move or talk for the week after a huge leg session. Steps, stairs, plyo, holds, and of course lots and lots of sprints. It was great to see everyone again and clearly the girls missed each other, as they all came early to chat.  But the big question is….what are we doing for dress up day this boot camp???

 Kristy's Pt April 2011

PT of the week this week goes to Jimmy aka Batman! Jimmy has progressed out of sight over the year that he has been training with Pioneer. Our goal of improving in strength and size has been successful every month. Recently pulling an 85kg Bent Bar Row, for a smaller frame Jimmy is handling well over his bodyweight. A far cry from his first training session. Well done doodle head, you are a deadset champion….and your girlfriend told me she is hot for your muscles :)

xtrain 14/5/11

Pioneer Training seems to have good luck on Saturday mornings as it was a BEAUTIFUL day again for the group. Whilst our boys had the day off it seemed, the all girl group were put through their paces in wicked ciruit of upper, lower and abs. A great effort by all the ladies and an awesome hour in the sun!
