Pioneer Training had a great turnout tonight for our fundraiser for the QLD Flood Appeal. All participants were asked to donate $10 for the hour class with all proceeds going straight to the Appeal. We raised $475 so far and money is still coming in from people who missed the class but want to contribute. Jenna and I want to thank everyone that has donated money to the cause. We had an awesome class, but unfortunately no streakers present to raise that extra money…..

Tuggeranong Boot Camp – Wednesday 19/1/11
Tuggeranong Boot Camp definately is no place for a man. The conversations just wouldn’t be the same would they girls? Wednesday’s naughty day lived up to its name this morning, as the girls taper down with Upper and Abs in prep for Fridays adventure day. A chance to breathe means a chance to talk, give cheek, and of course laugh like the ladies in the poise pantyliner ads. Jenna and I were at a loss for words for most of the session, and that definately is saying something. Anyway, what happens at Tuggies Boot Camp stays at Boot Camp. Despite an hour of laughing, the girls did complete an awesome workout, there will definately be some sore arms tomorrow
Player of the day points go to: Linda J 3, Michelle 2, Venetia 1
Baby Curtis joins the Pioneer ranks
Pioneer Training’s Jodie and Michael welcomed their beautiful baby boy, Curtis Michael to the world over the holidays. Our newest recruit was born on the 20th December 2010. Jodie has done extremely well over her pregnancy, training regulary throughout and only stopping 1 week prior to Curtis popping out into the world. Super keen to get back into her training, and watching on enviously in Mikes PT sessions, we only have a few more weeks to go until Jodie can resume her training. Congrats guys, have fun sleeping!!!

Civic Boot Camp Week 2: Tuesday 18-1-11
City Boot camp hit a huge cardio session today and after it was explained, the girls knew they were in for a huge session. The text last night to remind the girls didn’t help the girls sleep as they knew it really was going to be a big one!! Without any complaints, that we could hear, we were off and the girls sprinted their little hearts out. Heart rates hitting 190 bpm and a near vomit following that had Zoe pushing the limits and Lauren using her super long legs to hunt down Liz. Great work today girls we are in for a mammoth 8 weeks
Player of the day goes to 3 points Christina, 2 points Claire, 1 point Connie.
Tuggeranong Boot Camp Week 2: Monday 17-1-11

Interval cardio for the hour Kristy and I had the girls heart rates going through the roof with Sprints, skipping and step work. There are no other words for this session today other than ridiculously awesome!! Kristy and I had such a hard time picking player of the day we left it to the girls to text us to let us know who they think did super awesome.
Player of the day points go to: Erin 3 points, Peta 2 points, Romina 1 point. Well done to everyone though girls!!!
X-Training Saturday 15-1-11
Pioneer Training had their first x-training session for the year today and the group were in fine form. First up with Kristy we had 3 sets of 400m time trials. Kate pulling some quick time under the 1:25 mark which is phenomenal. Ben got his legs turning over after some time off and we welcomed Julie AKA my mummy to the group. Next up we had Gen visiting from Melbourne who is a qualified trainer and she put the group through some horrendous leg work. I’m sure her ears will be burning all week, great work Gen awsome part of the session. After a good hard hour of work down at Kambah oval the group were exhausted and ready to go home. Great work today guys.
Tuggeranong Boot Camp Week 1: Friday 14-1-11
Tuggeranong Boot Camp went OFF today!!!! What a way to finish of the first week of Boot Camp. Our location, Pine Island our distance run over the hour 4.7km which included sand sprints burpees, running man and stairs. I’m not going to lie the girls put in one HUGE effort. The group trained so hard and supported each other through the horrendous session. Still smiling at the end and proud of their accomplishments and so they should be. Kristy and I had such a hard time picking 3 people out for player of the day the entire group gets 1 Point! Great work girls Kristy and I are beside ourselves on how well you did this week.
Don’t forget X-Training tomorrow 8am at Kambah and if you haven’t already book in for our surfing trip in February.
