Pioneer definately will pump the sweat out of you! A huge session, some awesome combos, smashing pushups, and some knee drives that reminded me of how I dance. Lachy showed how that elbow is supposed to sound when it connects with that pad, and once Jess and Carissa had stopped their gossiping our younger crew really shone through! Pete and Beth were our virgin boxers for this evening and are pumped to return next week, even though they retasted lunch. Top effort guys, awesome to have Julie down from QLD as well, she even punches like an origin player!
Civic Boot Camp – Thursday 17/6/10
The civic girls were punished this morning with a gruelling boxing and dumbbell session and unlike the tuggies girls yesterday that got an arm rest whilst getting to run the stairs the civic girls had super set upon super set upon super set. Top effort to everyone today though, you girls stepped up to the mark and gave it 100%. And Jenna, remind me never to ask Chris to hop on her knees for me again…..
Tuggeranong Boot Camp – Wednesday 16/6/10
A punishing arm workout for the girls today and who would have thought that stair sprints would actually be a rest?! The boxing gloves came out and the dumbbells were feeling a thowsand times heavier than they actually were. Alycia gave her best eagle impression, whilst Peta suffered for her phsycho mood in PT and scored partnering me. When we both spat the dummy at each other, the gloves were slammed on the ground and the group went quiet. Ahhhhh, the loving relationship between client and trainer. The girls finished the session off with abdominal work and alot of moaning and groaning in pain. Super effort today girls, bit of a rest session in the lead up to Mondays “MinuteMizer”!!!!! Can the Tuggies girls beat the scores of the Civic girls?
Civic Boot Camp Week 5: Tuesday 15-6-10
The Civic girls had a nice long weekend and just enough time to rest up before today’s big session. With Kristy and I on the ball this morning we only had to yell at the girls once to get their act into gear. A huge effort by everyone and even Joeys Triceps showed up and put in a massive effort. Don’t forget to register for the Canada day fun run 5km or 10km it will be a great day.
Tuggeanong Boot Camp Week 5: 14-6-10
Public Holiday, what public holiday? the girls were up and out of bed and we kick started out sprint circuit session. Peta and Alycia were the first to get penalties for standing around and Kiz and Bri were close but stepped up their game. With only one more week the girls have been very dedicated to their training and putting in huge efforts. Well done to those who got up today.
X-Training Saturday 12-6-10
A magnificent morning on Mackillop oval today as Kristy had planned a 3 hour session and it all had to be crammed into an hour! The heart rates were up after their first 1-10 time trial and poor Louise was beside herself on how much running there was. With some medicine ball work thrown in the partnered sprints had the girls telling us they wanted variety, by that they meant everything else but this session. A great effort by the whole group.
Boxing Thursday 10-6-10
Kristy and I love all the different clients that we have at Pioneer Training. We highly encourage people of all types to pick up and start training. Gemma has been with Pioneer Training for a little over a year and even with a little Pioneer inside her she has maintained a healthy balanced life and training. Boxing was huge last night with interval boxing and sprints. The group were sweating like demons after the hour was over and the group were very thankful that the session was over.
City 2 Surf – 2010
The time has arrived again! Frolicking down the streets whilst being hosed down by spectators, played to by bands, cheered on by kiddies, and harrassed by pub owners to stop and have a beer. Pioneer Training has entered a team in the City 2 Surf, and now it’s up to you to enter. There are different categories for the people who want to smash through it to categories for people that want to jog/walk and one to just cruise along and enjoy the atmosphere. Jenna and I encourage everyone to give it a go. It’s a wonderful event, and the 14km track is extremely entertaining. Register now on www.city2surf.com.au click on enter now and search the Pioneer Training team. Enter in all your details and then please let Jenna or I know what start group you have entered in. You will need to stay the Saturday night in Sydney as the race kicks off early Sunday morning. There are quite a few of us staying at the Marriot which is right on the start line. Alternatively you can stay in Bondi. Start to organise your accomodation soon though.
Civic Boot Camp Week 4: Thursday 10-6-10
We concentrated on the girls Triceps today and with Kristy and I were on technique watch. The girls had nowhere else to feel the pain, besides the Triceps. If you see some funky looking hair around town tomorrow it is probably a Civic Girl who couldn’t lift her hands up to do her hair. After a few round of Triceps push ups and some quick tips on technique the girls had this exercise in the bag. A few sprints spike the heart rate and before we knew it the hour was over. Swamz I think we need an hour and a half some days I just can’t get everything in especially when we give the girls a super fun warm up like hockey!
DON”T FORGET THE SKI TRIP, WE ARE JUST ABOUT FULLY BOOKED.
