Jimmy has come a huge way in only 20 sessions, putting on 18cm in girth measurements, and increasing in his weights by over 400%. Built like a gazelle (and with speed to match), Jimmy’s body type is tall and lean. So increasing his calorie intake, adding in more protein, and ripping the hell out of his muscles everytime he frolicks into my garage, Jimmy crawls back out, another centimeter bigger. Keeping the fat intake super low and smashing his abdominals has also kept his girlfriend happy with a very well developing 6 pack, and the onset of a nice v. Terrific effort to you Jimmy, it’s nice to see you finally doing heavier weights than me! xxx
X-Training Saturday 26-6-10

After the rain last night we trained hard on the courts today keeping our little feet dry, well that was until the sweat started to pour out. It was a NO talk NO laugh session today and I told the girls we will be doing this once a month. I can honestly say it won’t stick! A huge effort today by everyone and with the weather being nice to us it turned into a great morning of training.

Boxing Thursday 24-6-10

Boxing was a hoot tonight, Swamz was in a wicked mood and I partnered up with Wendy. Well now there is a naughty corner and I may be part of it OOPS!! The rest of the group put in some massive combination work and had those elbows down pat. A brilliant effort by the whole group and some fun partnered hand slaps to top off the hour.

The Civic girls were treated to a semi relaxing Yoga, Tai Chi session today to top off a massive 6 weeks. With a few of the girls staying at home to support our Aussies in the Soccer we were getting updates in our relaxing session. Great work to everyone for putting in a massive 6 weeks and Kristy and I look forward to seeing you in the next 6 week block.
Civic V Tuggeranong!

After I experimented on one of my clients in a Personal Training session (and nearly killed her), Jenna and I took the Civic girls though the “MinuteMizer”. Maximum reps x 3 sets on the worst cardio exercises. After 45minutes the girls were exhausted, soaked in sweat, and wondering how they were going to peel themselves off the floor! Yee ha, lets now smash the Tuggies girls with it! A week later the Tuggies girls were put through it and knowing that the City girls had some high scores…it was on!

Tuggeranong Boot Camp Week 6: 23-6-10

In little groups of 3 today and an upper body circuit to even out with the leg pain the girls are suffering from Monday. The girls put in a huge effort with the weights and push ups. A great 6 weeks by all the girls and don’t forget to register for the next 6 week block.

What a huge session to start off week 6. The exercises were intense and then to top it off suicides to spike the heart rate just that little bit more. Great work to the Civic girls on their 6 weeks so far.

Kristy surprised the Tuggies girls with the Minute session of hell today. To the Tuggies girls credit they really stepped up and even beat the city girls in repetitions in some of the exercises. From Bri pumping out over 150 skips in a minute to lets not even go there with Alycia and Erins counting, a massive effort and great encouragement off everyone. Canada Fun Run – Sunday 20th June

We woke up to a beautiful sunny day, and with a race start time of 10am, there were smiles all around. 13 Pioneers took part in either the 5km or 10km Yarralumla bay course all finishing in awesome times! Chris completed her first ever 10km fun run in an awesome time of 62min. Jacinta showed that despite not running training, boot camp is clearly working for her, smashing out a time of 52min. Annie came in so early over the line, I didn’t even expect her! She clearly has been doing her running program. A terrific effort from all our team, Jenna and I were super proud of everyones efforts, it was so awesome to see those Pioneer shirts flying along the course.
Cheers to Julie (Helga and Lach’s daughter), who came down from sunny Gold Coast to freeze her backside off and be put through a torturous 4 days consisting of Boxing, X-Training and the fun run! It was great to have you Jules, maybe next time we should come to you?? Bit warmer!!

A killer tempo circuit for the group today, and although it was cold overcast and windy, 33 Pioneers still rocked up and put in a tremendous effort. We welcomed skye and belinda to the group, god knows why they set up near the naughty group??? A great all over smashing, and a big shout out to the crew doing the Canada Fun Run tomorrow with Jenna and I, pancakes at the finish line!
