Tugg Boot Camp - 21/4/10

A beautiful jog down to Pine Island this morning and the girls were in for a world of pain. Strength work mixed in with hundreds of punches got the shoulders on fire. Jenna and I were in a super hyper mood (and no we weren’t doing red bull shots at the car), and for once the girls weren’t misbehaving?? Jenna welcomed Margie back and stole her hot water bottle, Steph tried to sniff my perfume for 10minutes, Morina is questioning her name change, and Erin finally sorted out where Alicias eyes were. Top session girls, Rabsy and I have been most impressed with the effort the last two weeks. Keep it up, we hit the stairs again on Friday….

Some fabulous boxing work today with loads of running to top it off.  The group put in amazing effort to start week 6 off and there were a few green faces at the end of it.  The City girls are going to give the Tuggies girls a run for their money in the Fitness test results.  Keep up the hard work girls the results are showing each session.

Congrats to Pioneers Nat and Jason!

baby claire

A huge congratulations to Nat and Jason on the birth of their first baby! Clare was born on Saturday night and both her and Nat are doing super. Nat continued her personal training right up to 1 and a half weeks up to the birth, and has kept a wonderful figure due to her commitment to her exercise. Unfortunately for me she didn’t give birth in my garage, so I don’t get to name the baby Empidocles. Clare will have to do  :)        4 weeks rest and then we get to run again nat!!! Yee ha!

The only down time the Tuggies girls got today was walking to the session and back from the session.  A massive effort by the entire group today as the girls smashed Pine Island.  Fitness testing will be a breeze in two weeks after we have finished with the group.  Stef burnt 777 calories and Romina burnt 720 calories in the hour and Swamz took her first run in 7 weeks an amazing session by everyone.

It could not have been a more magnificent morning at X-Training today.  The sun was out Swamz was having a well deserved sleep in and I had planned the session at 10pm Friday night.  It was always going to be a killer session with the late night and as the troops pulled in, Joyce was the only one who saw the cones and reversed the car back out the driveway.  She quickly changed her mind and headed in to tough it out with the rest of them.  We welcomed Dawn to the group who was promised there was not a lot of running by Louise, OOPS!

A Smashing session over all with LOADS of running and Kate burning the most calories she has ever done in a session.  Well done guys, I hope you all have hand rails to help lower yourself onto the toilet.

Tugg Boot Camp 16/4/10

The girls smashed out a huge session at Urambi Hill today, boxing dumbbells and sprints and of course all up hill! Romina hit the 700 calories and with her and Peta battling out the sprints, Peta took the mountain 1 – 0. A terrific session by everyone today, 10 brownie points for you all. We hope Jenna and John boy enjoyed their sleep ins this morning. It was just as warm and toasty on the hill at 6am  ;)

The Civic girls gave their all today and after legs with John Boy on Tuesday there was some much needed arm work to do.  With weights in their hands the entire session we got some serious muscle pump and good quality push ups.  With only 3 weeks to go and only 6 sessions the Civic girls are training with their fitness tests in mind.  Keep it up ladies!
