Tuggeranong Boot Camp Week 7: Friday 26-2-10
The Tuggies girls topped off the week with the same session as the City Girls. The City girls may have one up on you girls they may be a little quicker. With Vests and all types of weights out, the Tuggeranong girls still put in an amazing effort to finish off a hard week. Not to mention they were all still a wee bit sore from Monday’s session.
A massive good luck to our girls racing in the Verti-cool stair run at Telstra Tower this afternoon. 403 stairs to be climbed all raising money for Camp Quality. Good Luck!
Boxing Thursday 25-2-10
A fabulous night for boxing and one THOWSAND people to enjoy it with. We welcomed back Suzie and Brenda who have been living it up and I think you may be a wee bit sore tomorrow gals. Poor Carissa had Kristy on her back all night so much she got a pain in her neck, Carissa the pain may have been Kristy. Great work tonight guys good session.
Civic Boot Camp Week 3: Thursday 25-2-10
The last session before fitness testing the girls put in a massive effort. The girls were threatened if they were not at boot camp by 5:50am next week there were penalties for every minute they are late. They certainly made up for that with the interval weights and sprint session and didn’t complain once. Leanne wanted to pack up 10 minutes early and said it was the longest session in history, just wait till Swamz and I put you Civic girls through a Public Holiday super session!
Rest up this weekend girls and let’s smash these results in the testing
Tuggeranong Boot Camp Week 7: Wednesday 24-2-10
As always an interesting start to the morning’s conversations with Pop Rocks coming up. A small group today as work seems to be steeling our clients Kristy and I may just have to sit down with your boss and show them who is BOSS!! The girls were a little bit tender through the legs so upper body was a nice rest for the legs. We figured out who our naughty instigators were today and missed them funnily enough. Mt Taylor on Friday YEEHA!!
Civic Boot Camp Week 3: Tuesday 23-2-10
The girls had a massive sprint circuit today and who was to join us, none other than 1 BILLION BATS! Lucky no one got pooped on i’m sure if Swamz was there it would have been another story all together. The session kicked off with the toy box coming out. Agility, Bosu balls, Steps and sprints as well. We were sure Gidge sent a over a spy to watch what we were doing but the girls didn’t care and kept their heart rates up and their eye on the prize. Great work today ladies, Thursdays session will be a load of fun!
Tuggeranong Boot Camp Week 7: Monday 22-2-10
The girls really stepped up to the plate today and their fitness has gone through the roof. With over 2km pumped out in running with dumbbells, steps and balls this session proved to be a tough one but everyone really stepped up. To top it off with four 50m sprints every 10 minutes the girls got their competitive streak out and tore up the oval leaving nothing but dust behind. Great session today girls, great session!
X-Training Saturday 20-2-10
A magnificent morning for X-Training and the group were in for a large session. The group paired up to smash the entire body today. Sprints after a massive warm up then upper body then some hard resistor belt work to finish off the body. Those Cm’s will be dropping off everyone, even little Mia who had her little 1kg dumbbells. Great way to kick start your Saturday morning off.
