Civic Boot Camp was a hoot this morning and a little fresh too. Swamz had to wrap her little chicken legs up and the girls Gorilla jumped up Regatta Hill. A little tougher for the city girls on a hill we may have to even it up and make the Tuggies girls do it up Point Hut. Felicitie showed up for her penalty Boot session and to make it better was the first one there. Great week girls keep it up!
Tuggeranong Boot Camp – Wednesday 20/1/10
A chilly but gorgeous morning to play in the park! Jenna put the girls through their paces with a tough boxing and strength work out this morning, and boy will there be some sore shoulders tomorrow! Felecitie slept in and will be dragged along to face the civic girls in the morning as a punishment make up session. Urambi Hill on Friday girls, bring it on!
Civic Boot Camp Week 2: Tuesday 19-1-10
The girls kicked butt today with Boxing and stairs. John mixing it up and even putting in some burpees to top it all off. Rosie showing awesome technique in her push up hold and although it was fresh again with the weather, the balloons on the lake made Boot Camp in the City another amazing setting.
Tuggeranong Boot Camp Week 2: Monday 18-1-10
It is already week two of our 8 week program and the girls have shown so much improvement already. A circuit of fun today as burpees were first up on the list with Thrusters and suicides. Kristy not holding back on today’s session even throwing in some Gorilla walks. Peta our local gorilla queen smashed it and even put Kristy and me to shame. All you need is the noise now Peta. Great session to start the week girls remember on Friday we hit Mt Urambi.
Beach Boot Camp and Learn 2 Surf – Saturday 16th January
A beautiful day for our beach boot camp, and with some new tricks up our sleeve, Jenna and I were pumped to smash the awesome line up of Pioneers. With a few coming close to vomitting with the beach sprints in the first 5 minutes, the regulars knew we had upped the intensity for this one, and it wasn’t going to get any easier. However, much to the credit of the group, everyone kept breakfast in their bellie (those that were brave enough to eat anyway), and put in an awesome session with the calorie rate over 120 per 10min! Gemma ate the sand trying to out gorilla me, Lach was one with the sand once we had finished, and poor Sarah… she belongs to another fitness company, will she ever come back???? So after a cool off and a bite to eat, Soulrider Surf School set us up with boards and wetties and we were off! Graham took the newbies through their paces whilst us pros (hahahaha) headed out with Sanchee to hit the tsunamis! Rabs took off on the board trying to catch a wave in New Zealand, whilst the rest of us caught normal waves. Overall again another successful adventure, everyone had a blast, and touch wood, still no hospital visits….

Tuggeranong Boot Camp Week 1: Friday 15-1-10
Pine Island this morning had the girls sprinting their little hearts out. Boxing, push ups and sand make a great mix for big calories burnt. Stef putting in a massive effort burning over 700 calories for the session. Joey, Torrie and Jenine ran so hard they got dizzy. Jodie decided that it was a week to smash the shoulders but I’m sure you all won’t complain when someone one says to you “wow look how good your arms look”. Massive first week this week girls well done!!
Boxing – Thursday 14/1/10
36 Pioneers rocked up super motivated and ready for what Jenna and I had to dish out tonight. A huge session of boxing, kicking, running and weights to ensure we had the maximum effort from the group and huge calories. Considering in the partners work you are just holding the pads for 50% of the time, steph still managed to pull out a whopping 740 calories! It was great to see everyone excited to see each other after the break, and even though everyone was extremely chatty, there was still heaps of work being done! Loved your effort guys, awesome session!
Civic Boot Camp week 1: Thursday 14-1-10
After a massive fitness test Tuesday and some feeling it after a few weeks off, a mixture of exercises were on the cards today to get those bodies used to training again. Short sprints to keep the heart rates up the girls will be feeling a wee bit sore tomorrow. A great session by everyone and no vomit. You better harden up John boy!!
First Vomit of 2010! Congrats John Boy!
Well it only took 3 days for my plants to get their first fertalise of 2010, and what better client to start the year off then John Boy! Whilst I sat back and savoured the moment (and my museli bar), John re-tasted his bottle of gatorade all over my front garden after a smashing x-training time trial session. Exactly 9 minutes of vomiting and 27min 46sec of exercise. All credit to the young man for backing up and finishing the session off though. Any one else want to try this session?????
Tuggeranong Boot Camp – Wednesday 13/1/10
Wednesdays naughty class kicked straight back in from last year as the girls had time to talk and were kept together as a group for upper strength and abs work. Conversations between some of our more experienced girls left the young ones gobsmacked, but there was plenty of laughing and what was supposed to be a lower calorie day ended up kicking over 500. Not to bad for just standing on the spot for an hour!!! Jenna and I had an absolute ball this morning, it’s so great to have you girls back into it, and it’s so awesome to see everyone giving it 100%. Pine Island on Friday girls, bring on the beach!
