X-Training 30/1/10 

The group were puffed after the warm up and knew they were in for a big session but with talks of zumba dancing the class went super quick and Julie even demonstrated her own style of zumba just for Steve. Poor fella, amongst 19 women who all had the giggles, where were our boys today! The naughty corner were on a warning system today with the 3 strikes out system they ran a fine line but made it through the session. Step work, running, upper and lower strength, the group hit every muscle in every way today, top effort to everyone. Have a great weekend!

Tugg Boot Camp - 29/1/10 

The girls were put through a massive session of sprint intervals to kick their metabolisms into gear for the weekend, and whilst the Mt Taylor regulars watched in awe of our girls, we hit new levels of fitness. Joey, Jodie and Rikki really stepped the speed up today and it was unreal to see the dedication the group put in and collapse at the end. We topped at a whopping 600 calories which is pretty awesome for only roughly 20min of actual running. All credit to you ladies, you got plenty of fans with all the regular walkers up there gobsmacked with what you were doing, they didn’t know whether to congratulate me on your efforts or call the police!

A big Happy Birthday to Gemma (Tuggies) and Jacinta (Civic) for today, have a super day girls,  Gemma enjoy your birthday exercise program down the coast! No rest for you buddy!

 

Boxing – Thursday 29/1/10

Boxing 29/1/10 

A thowwwsand people for boxing tonight and the group were up for a huge interval session! Heart rates were hitting 98% and calories were enormous for a partnered session. Christina was just short of 500 calories. The naughty corner were in full swing, joyce even moved amanda to the other end so they wouldn’t corrupt her. For those of you dishing out the swear words at me for how hard the session was, you would be happy to know that I lost my voice later that night   :)

Civic Boot Camp 28/1/10 

After such an awesome session of running on Tuesday the girls were treated to Boxing, weights and short sprints this morning. Kylie will learn super quick to grab a partner next time as she was stuck with John for the hour, which meant all boxing and double the weights! Good luck washing your hair buddy. Claire and Lauren were on fire with the gidget comments as again we were stalked by fellow boot campers. I apologise to Kel for my lack of timing skills but after her completing “500″ tricep dips who can complain when you have the tightest tonest arms in Canberra???? A super chatty morning but we hit over 650 calories, so top effort to you all ladies!

The girls will be feeling their arms today after a simple but super effective weights session this morning. With Bri leading the naughty corner (yes Bri! I hear you all gasp) the wednesday naughties were in fine form as everyone decided they would take the mickey out of each other: facial expressions, imaginary lovers, pick up stix, downhill skiing, and a crazy OCD lawnmower man with a vacuum.  Enjoy the jelly arms girls, we hit MT Taylor on Friday for some big calories!!!

Civic Boot Camp - 26/1/10 

HAPPY AUSTRALIA DAY!!! The civic girls were treated to an extra hour sleep in this morning but John was so excited he was out at the lake at 5:40  getting ready for the session. So after discussing the ins and outs of my new Iphone and Torries special K experience we were off. Unfortunately not paddle boating, but for some long runs and some great ways to use the park benches! The girls did awesome this morning with their runs getting  a chance to stretch their legs out on the Sri Chinmoy track. Nada threatened vomit photos a few times through out the session, Emilia showed how awesome she is this program with her effort, and god love Rosie, she smashed the running out! Everyone has improved their running ten-fold from week 1, imagine what the fitness test results are going to be for the run girls!!! See you Thursday girls, behave today, I’ll be scouting the food tents at Commonwealth Park over lunchtime. (No Dutch Pancakes!!!)

Tugg Boot Camp 25/1/10 

John Boy was in charge of the girls this morning and he fit in super as all 23 hated him just after the warm up! A huge cardio session for the girls and a huge chatting session for me, Yay! So as the girls smashed the session out on the steps, felicitie drank tea leaves and I discussed the pros of scratch and sniff applications….I mean stickers. The girls are all dressing together in the mornings, today it was black shorts and grey tops. Whats on the card for wednesday? Will Michelle pull out an outfit she bought in Thailand? And heavens where is Jenna when I have to defend my spunky new blue pioneer singlet and why the girls can’t have them!!!! Thanks rabs!

X-Training 23/1/10 

A sweat box for the class this morning as it was already well into the 20’s and we were feeling the heat. A massive cardio session though and the group were awesome. Little Ella grooved her way on the side line watching everyone showing off her thrust dance that she has clearly picked up from me. Who said babies can’t be taught tricks???  Great first x-training session for the year guys! You handled the heat well and Laura pumped out over 850 calories for the hour.

Tugg Boot Camp 22/1/10 

A 5km time trial throughout Urambi this morning as they work back into some endurance fitness after a lovely rest over xmas. Carla led the pack, whilst Peta left her mark in the dirt whizzing through for her first big run ever and what an effort! Felicitie showed that she was back ready and raring with a terrific time! Jodie burnt over a whopping 700 calories and then backed up for PT with me straight after and burnt another 400! (Still no big mac jodes). Gemma gave 100% in the sprints and ended up on her hands and knees praying to the spew gods. And yes it did come out eventually, congrats Shmooks, first chick vomit for the year!

We farewell rabs for a week to marry off her sister. Have fun rabs, John and I sure will! See you all next week Ladies….

A smaller group tonight but a very pleasant one at that.  It is amazing when you tell the group to put their gloves on “please” how fast everyone does it.  Loads of running and skipping as we finished our second boxing session of 2010.   Amazing work by all
