Xmas Party 

Jenna, John and I would like to thank all the participants of Pioneer Training for a wonderful 2009. Everyone has had an extremely successful year and damn we have had fun along the way! Thank you to everyone who came to the christmas party on friday night, it was an awesome night and I’m sure no-one will ever be the same again after our “pioneer” specials. Remember crew, what happened at Tilleys, stays at Tilleys.

All Boot Camps, Classes and Personal Training will resume from the 11th January. Registrations for boot camps will be open from the 4th January, so you can contact Jenna or myself via email or mobile from that day on.

Have a very merry christmas, a safe new years, and get yourself super pumped for 2010 because holy lordy it is on like donkey kong!!!

Tugg Boot Camp - 18/12/09 

The girls today pretty much summed up their effort for the entire 8 weeks of Boot Camp – 100% committed and stepping way out of the comfort zones. The Challenge : get from Point hut to pine island via the river track, to complete the circuit set up at Pine island and then get back to Point hut again in the hour. As the rain bucketted down and the rapids flowing the stage was set for an awesome adventure run, and the girls weren’t disappointed. Covering 7.5km of rough terrain, hills, sand, rocks and stairs, the girls looked like gazelles! For the girls that missed out on the photo opportunity today due to running at the time, look out as I will get shots of you at the Xmas Party!

Jenna, John and I would like to thank and congratulate everyone on such a successful program. The fitness results from the 8 weeks were by far the best we have seen and the cm loss and weight loss are right on target. The next program starts on the 11th January, registrations will open on the 4th.

Our final boxing session for 2009.  A great session to finish up on, the group were in fine form putting 110%.  Legs and upper tonight a great mixture to send off the troops till 2010.  Our first session back will be the 14th of January.  Kristy John and I hope to see you all back for some killer sessions.

Anyone that wants to use the excuse of “I put on weight when I had the kids and then couldn’t lose it” should take a good look at Christina (above) and Kelly (below). Christina has managed to lose 12 kg off her PRE-Pregnancy weight, so not only did she have a baby but through weekly fitness training and careful eating she managed to then even lose the weight she had before the baby. Having two little ones is a huge job, but Christina is extremely dedicated to her goals and is breezing through them weekly. Her fitness is out of sight and her strength would put some men to shame. And guess what she has also managed to pop out a little kid that makes me just a tad fluffy…. what the hell! Kelly has been on a maintenance program after achieving her ideal size 4 months ago, and we have had an awesome time just fine tuning and sculpting her yummy mummy body. As a single mother of 2 young boys and juggling two jobs, kel is an absolute inspiration. She also just celebrated her 30th B’day last Sunday!

The boys showed the rest of Canberra how its done again this year taking out even more silverware at the presentation dinner. Trophies coming home included Senior Rider of the year, Most Improved senior rider, 250 lights, 450’s and over 45’s. John, Ron and Charlie have kept to an intense cardio, weights and core strength program and their results on the track have left other riders questionning their own fitness. The boys are pumped for a big 2010, and are ready for some more vomit sessions! Bring it on!

Well they say if a bird poos on your head its good luck, good luck Swamz!  The Civic girls were treated to a fun session today.  To finish of 2009 we hit Regatta hill and even with a tyre drag.  The girls put in and with measurements in great cm loss too.  Kristy John and I wish all of you a happy and safe Christmas and we look forward to training with you in 2010.  Hope you see you all at the Christmas party.  A massive Happy Birthday to Lauren today!!

Today’s session was one to remember for a life time.  The girls put in a big boxing session while dodging the sprinklers.  Although some not making it away quick enough and coping the sprinkler right in the stomach.  Poor Swamz!  This Wednesdays conversation this week, dogs reflect their owners.  Now I’m not even going to get into this one but you can imagine what it was all about.  WOOF WOOF.

A Massive HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Swamz today as she turns…. I better not say she would kill me!! Although if you keep that Edward shirt on I might not be your friend.

A fabulous start to the day as the Civic girls hit their fitness testing.  2km run, push ups, sit ups and plank.  The girls put in a fabulous effort with their running making it the whole way without stopping. Push ups on your knees is now a thing of the past and what an awesome sight to watch.  Great work today girls super proud of you all.

Fitness testing for the girls today and their results proved that they all have had a very successful Boot Camp.  Here are some of the results

Alicia – 45 Push ups on Knees in 2 minutes 8 weeks later – 42 Push ups on toes.

Erin – 1-10 time trial (1.2km run) 9:36 8 weeks later – 7:34

Ann – Max Plank hold 1:14 8 weeks later – 2:55

A massive, massive effort from all the girls this Boot Camp with two more sessions to lets finish this boot camp off with massive measurement loss!

Good Shepherd Cheer Chicks 

Our Pioneer Training Dragon Boat team this year were lucky enough to have our own cheer squad, and after such a tremendous effort on the day, Jenna and I wanted to do something for the girls. As the girls finished the year 1st in the A.C.T for the 11 years and under after 3 state competitions, we thought this group of undefeated little champions needed a little present. So much to the girls delight I presented them all with their very own trophies today at their end of year Christmas BBQ. The girls gave up a bit of their time away from the pretzels and orange juice to show me their awesome pushups and situps. Some of the girls can even do pushup slaps! Lets sign them up Jenna! Congratulations girls on such a successful year, we are very proud to sponsor you girls.
