Civic Boot Camp was a balmy 15 degree this morning although that was the calm before the storm.  By that I mean Kristy the storm.  We welcomed Nada, Ebony and Emilia to the Boot camp and we welcomed back Rach.  Kristy didn’t hold back giving the girls step work and stair sprints!  It was a horrendous workout for the girls new and old.  We send off Claire on a fabulous holiday and looking fabulous too, have a smashing time Claire we will fit in those suit cases wont we Swamz.  Great work to everyone today.

A magnificent day up on the hill this morning.  As the sun came up the girls ran up, and up and up again.  Weights with sprint intervals the girls were not impressed.  They knew they had to work their booties off so they could have a stretch and relax class on Wednesday.  We welcomed back Gen and Anna although it didn’t even feel like they were gone with Gen giving us the Grunt to let us know she was not impressed.  Great session girls we will see you at Mackillop College in Wanniassa on Wednesday don’t forget!!

Ominous clouds loomed above Mackillop grounds today but it didn’t stop a massive 34 pioneers from getting to their session this morning! A huge cardio and leg strength work out, and for those 6 lovely new ladies i’m sure the next couple of days are going to be very interesting trying to walk! But come summer you will have the loveliest legs in town. We welcome back Charlie and Carla and congratulate Colleen for weighing up the importance of exercise over the weight watchers ice-cream. Congratulations to David and James who are sticking to their new active lifestyles, you boys are doing extremely well.

We wish Jenna (rabs) the best of luck for today as she competes in her first ever Powerlifting competition. Smash em Rabs!!!

A terrific morning on the oval this morning, although you could tell it was Friday Kristy had to explain things a couple of times.  The girls were back to laughing and training the way we like it.  A pretty relaxed week for the girls but they needed it before they hit Urambi Hill on Monday morning.  Let’s hit it hard girls and get the most out of it.

Everyone was in great form for tonights boxing session. Beautiful punches being thrown, some top running and loads of ab work to compliment it all! Loui and Ursula challenged each other in the sprints, Sally and Steve were pushing their shoulder muscles to the limit, and Patty and Joyce are getting even quicker still! The naughty corner of Kel, Jess and Leanne, pushed a few time for a penalty, good thing we were feeling generous girls! Happy birthday to fatcracker, and farewell to Steve and Julie for a week. Behave you two!

A foggy morning, some slept in, some were in crazy moods actually the entire group we in a fabulous mood today.  After 4 weeks with no tyres the girls knew that tyres were on the menu today.  A tough little circuit up Regatta Hill today hitting an all over body workout!  Karen was multitasking as she did her running man she tried to find Torries name and time in the Canberra Times Fun run Paper.  After a good 40 seconds of running man she was found.  Jacinta missed a smashing session missing her alarm, don’t worry J you can make it up to us.  Kristy was not paying attention to the instructions so was given a penalty run to the top of the hill, Erin giving her 10 seconds to get there.  Genevieve will be super proud of you Swamz!

What a great session this morning, there were smiles, music, dancing, the sun and of course sweat and hard work! The civic girls were on fire this morning as they managed to co-ordinate boxing with some very cool dance moves (well janja did anyway). It was a hard session but the girls knuckled down and managed everything Jenna and I asked of them, and still managed to have fun! Have a terrific day girls, you were awesome to train this morning, now I have to go burn 20 CD’s from this morning for everyone…..

A great session at Mackillop National Park today with tents set up we had to remind ourselves we were on a School oval.  The girls had no running in their little heads today due to such a successful Canberra Times Fun Run.  What were you guys thinking!  We mixed it up today and pulled out toys from the Pioneer Toy box.  Then we added sprints, then we had to add penalty runs because Gemma wasn’t doing her sit ups.  Then we added penalty runs due to Felicitie.  How many penalties on the hour you ask oh… about 3!  The girls were in fine form today with their whinging.  We are now called Whiney Camp. No more toys for the rest of the week! CONFISCATED!!!!
