A massive congratulations to husband and wife team, Steve and Julie for their amazing effort in their weightloss jouney! In only 3 months of training, the pair have lost a combined 25kg!  With both losing a huge amount of cm’s, Steve – 82cm and Julie -43cm, these guys are well on their way to achieving their goals! I am so proud of you both, and what an absolute pleasure it is to train you both! The positive attitude you both have to your training and to a healthier lifestyle has given you quick and obvious results. Well done guys!!!

Only 11 for a chilly boot camp this morning, with people away and sick and of course honeymooning, we had a very personalised session! Just the way we like it! With the civic girls treated to the ‘tempo tantrums’ workout today, the grimaces on the girls faces throughout was awesome! Top effort for the girls though, and only one more session to go before the week off! Make the most of the last one girls, I’m sure you will miss it next week!

A cold morning and a smashing session to go with it.  6 people rocking up for what was going to be a very “personal” session.  Kristy and i pulled out our toys from the toy box and gave a killer session.  Bosu balls ladders and Bad Bags proved to be a big calorie burner.  With no running and only 1 minute intervals Venetia burning a whopping 600+ calories.  Thank you to the group who put in a massive session.

Tuggeranong Boot Camp Week 7: Friday 24/04/09

There is nothing like week 7, Mt Taylor, Tyres, penalties and a bit of vomit on the side!!  A massive session by the girls today combining a massive leg workout with loads of cardio.  As we headed up the hill the group knew they were in for a big session.  Running man, hill lunges and tyres OH MY.  With the last activity in place with a squat hold, penalties were in place for anyone who stood up.  One little pioneer did, so a big sprint half way up Mt Taylor brought Dee’s dinner up from the night before. When Dee returned to base Romina not knowing she had made mud patties, pumped her up for one last hill sprint and with out hesitating sprinted up the last and final hill.  Great work to everyone for a massive session.

Player of the day points go to 3 points Dee, 2 points Anita 1 point Bec

After Tuesdays run a bit of upper body work was needed to even out the pain!  What a better way to do it than with medicine balls.  The girls pumped out 10 minute rounds of upper body work and leg work to top off what has been a massive week by everyone. You girls have really stepped up again and you just keep raising the bar even higher keep up the hard work girls.

A MASSIVE GOOD LUCK to Kristin who will be walking down the aisle on Sunday.  Kristy and i wish you all the best of luck, you will look amazing.

Tuggeranong Boot Camp Week 7: Wednesday 22/4/09

The morning started off with penalties, 5 minutes of suicides for the girls who showed up late.  Wakey wakey Nat!!!  After that was a HORENDOUS weight work out called ” Tempo Tantrums”, the girls at the start thought it was a funny name for a work out until literally 2 minutes into the session and their faces turned sour and their arms to jelly.  Great work to the group it took them 45 minutes before Jodie chucked the first tantrum throwing her bar to the ground opting for a lighter bar. Nat was almost chucking one but didn’t give Kristy and i the satisfaction.  Good idea Nat!

After a massive session the girls were shattered.  I am sure they will all come to Boot Camp with greasy hair tdue to the fact they cant lift their arms above their heads. hahhaha

A huge Happy Birthday to Torrie who turns the BIG… i wont say Tor, But have a super fantastic day.  Great present from Annie, a bag of carrots and from Felicitie chocolate muffins look out at PT tonight Felicitie and Torrie!!

Player of the day point go to 3 points Ruth, 2 points Darci 1 point Lynda J
