Well the morning started off with a HUGE HAPPY BIRTHDAY SWAMS (Kristy).  All the girls said a big happy 21st birthday to Kristy, they thought that being nice would let them off on an easy session, fat chance girls. After Kristy put on her little princess hat and sash we were off to the stairs.  A huge session by everyone and brilliant work to the girls that have never done them before.  The group were separated and some given weight vests.  A few quick sets to warm up then a huge 20 minutes on the whole lot.  AWESOME WORK girls you have really improved since the last session there.  And by the way if i had mentioned Kristy’s real age she would hurt me HAHHAH

Player of the day points go to: 3 points Felecitie, 2 points Annie, 1 point Kali

HA! what a smashing way to finish off the year.  As the princesses went in against the team who hold 4th on the ladder after 10 minutes in we Knew our fitness (again) was going to get us over the finish line. With Akers scoring a huge 3 points and Kara 1 we smashed the other team all the way to China, well not quite but we were all over them like a rash.  NUMBER ONE girls, that’s where we sit on the ladder bring on that trophy.  Great work to all the girls tonight. Swams and I  are sad about one little Pioneer who wont continue playing with us next year i wont mention her name she knows who she is and we love her and will miss her HEAPS!

Jenna’s PT of the week

My PT of the week is Arthur.  Arthur has been training with me for 8 weeks now and is smashing his goals and his fitness has improved  like nothing i have seen.  Arthur has been on a high impact x-training and weights program and has lost 10kilos in 8 weeks.  Not to mention he did a work out 2 weeks ago and i re-tested him a week later He took 5 minutes 11 seconds off his original time his heart rate at the end of the session was less then his first test and burnt more calories.

Arthur Personal trains 3 times a week with me and always gives a THOWSAND percent into every session.  I have no doubt Arth will be on fire in the next few months.  Great work Arth your a pleasure to train

After a heavy downfall for the last two days, Mackillop oval was a treat to train on and made for some very hard med ball slamming! The group were treated to a 75 minute session today and burn’t a whopping 1300 calories!!!! Congratulations to everyone for a valiant effort! It was a hard session to get through in a 60 minutes let alone finding that extra 15minutes!!

Well done to our new Pioneer Julie, who gave a tremendous performance!! See you at Boxing Julie!

My pick of the week goes to Steph Porter who is absolutely carving up the cycle track since I have started her on and intense fast twitch program to improve her leg strength and speed. This has worked a treat, and has pushed Porter to the front of the pack in her cycle team. Steph is also a Les Mills RPM cycle instructor so we have incorporated lactic training into our sessions to ensure that she is one of the hardest classes to keep up with.

As usual Steph, it is a pleasure to train you. You push yourself to the limit, and we are both loving the specific program training. Keep smashing it buddy, you rock! Bring on the Alpine Classic! Pioneer to be first across the line!!!

The girls went for a glorious run in the rain today on their Urambi adventure weighed down with rain sodden clothes and weight vests! And they still looked fabulous! Coincedently, I spotted the rare and unknown triantula on our travels and took a photo for you all to see…. this one is only a baby, but if you ask jenna they can grow as big as teradactals!!!

Great job to all the girls today, clearing 5km and being great sports for turning up in the rain! Fantastic tantrum to Anna who now is the sooky la la champion! Gee it’s hard being skinny now isn’t it!

Player of the day goes to Jodie – 3, Tori – 2 and Katie – 1. Well done on that goal Jodes!!!

The ladies had a huge running boxing session tonight and boy did they smash it.  They group was only punished with one lot of burpees tonight and next time I’m sure they wont push Kristy to the brink of more penalties.  Next week is our last Boxing session for the year and well done to everyone and thank you to everyone who joined us.   It has been a pleasure.

What a huge session for the girls this morning.  Skipping and abs for an hour straight.  After learning very quick that if they stuffed up their skipping we started from scratch, the girls skipping was SUPER.  Only one lot of penalties for the group today and I think Kristy and my ears will be burning tomorrow when the girls cough!  Great session today ladies you put in a TOP effort as always.  Lucky there were no TRIANTULAS on the ground that would have been scary, hey Kristy!!!!

A brilliant start to a Wednesday morning with 1 – 10 time trial up the hill with most of our girls smashing their original times.  Kristy and I are so happy with the attitude and enthusiasm you all put in.  A tough session and to top it off sprint intervals with weights we loved every bit of it.  Only 4 more sessions to go for the year and what a year it has been.  Places are filling up fast for January Boot Camp so get in quick to start the new year off with a bang.

Player of the day points go to 3 points Katie, 2 points Venetia 1 point Anna

The girls were in for a treat this morning when they arrived to Boot Camp. Jenna and I told them to put towels back in the car and started gearing half the group in weight vests. I then pointed to the Art Gallery across the other side of the lake and told the girls that was our destination. After a few freak outs we were off and running. The girls as a group hit the gallery in 9 minutes! We then asked the girls if they were brave enough to try to do the whole lake, clearly feeling pumped and positive the girls were off again and we ran the rest of the way right around! A fantastic effort by everyone! Congratulations to the girls who never thought in a million years they could run that far. Not only did you conquer the lake physically, but mentally as well. Jenna and I are super proud girls, you ran 5km as a group in 38min!
